From Auditor To Division President
Reed started his career as an auditor at Baird, Kurtz & Dobson, CPAs. In 1994 he joined Talbot Wire & Display as Assistant Controller, and stayed on when Leggett & Platt acquired the company.
Over 30 years at Leggett & Platt he led internal audit, served as Group Controller over a $700M portfolio, ran business development and served as President of three divisions. The largest, the Rod and Wire Division, had $1.1B in annual sales.
He founded Hoagland Financial Group in 2024 to give owner-led companies the same financial, operational and executive leadership, part time, in person and virtually.
